Google receives over 20,000 resumes each week. That means that a new one comes in every two minutes. The amazing thing is that these resumes are not from your average job seeker, they are from the most talented and experienced applicants in the world. The reason that they have been able to build such a large and impressive company in such a little time is because they hire the best people. They have accomplished this by attracting great talent with great compensation. If we want to improve school system and be an example for other districts, then we have to attract great talent and the only way to do that is through offering great compensation. Richland County Teachers have been over worked and under paid for decades, it is time to change that and set the standard for what a great school district looks like.
